Susan Nichols - Executive Director - susan.nichols@missioncyfair.org
Susan grew up in a home surrounded with abuse and addiction. At age seven, she gave her life to Christ. While developing a true desire to serve Jesus, she struggled with many life decisions and tragic losses in her life. Desiring to be a "transitional character" in her generation she began seeking Biblical change that went deeper than her circumstances.
Susan attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. During these years, God made it clear he had a specific plan for her life to be used to glorify Him. After college Susan spent many years working with high-risk teens in a treatment center, apartment outreaches and urban ministries. She attended seminary at Houston Graduate School of Theology and obtained her Master's Degree. She served as the Executive Director for Bear Creek Assistance Ministries in Northwest Houston for three years and left in 2002 to be at home and raise her children.
Susan has been married since 1993 to her husband Rob and they have two children, Andrew and Amanda. In the summer of 2009, Susan began working with Lifepath Church in the role of Community Development & Outreach Director to help fulfill the vision of becoming an "inside-out" church. This role soon lead to the development of a non-profit ministry (Mission Cy-Fair) where Susan now serves as the Executive Director. Her chief desire is to see individuals, churches, and the body of Christ unify their efforts to impact the Cy-Fair community and beyond.
